Fall is in the air...
I'm usually one of the last to admit that the summer is slipping away--I've always hated to rush things before their time, but prefer to linger in the moment as long as I can. I refuse to buy Halloween costumes in August (go ahead and look--I swear they're out there already), and Christmas bulbs the week after Halloween. In fact, my spring clothes rarely get unpacked until mid-June, and my sandals--well, they are year-round footwear, right? OK--I guess you can take it a bit far, and maybe I'm a bit of a procrastinator, too. BUT--having said all that, I will make an exception for Autumn. Summer can stick around if it wants to, just so long as the daylight starts to bend into long shadows, the evenings cool and the leaves start to burnish and crisp beneath my feet. I love to wrap a cardigan around my shoulders and sit out on my front porch, sipping hot chai instead of iced, listening to the cicadas sirens give way to the gentle chirp of crickets.

There's so much happening over here in Blossom-land, it was hard to decide when to even send a newletter!
