This colorful Mexican-themed pillow began with an embroidered white cotton runner with hand-done crochet along the edge. It features a Mexican boy with a basket of fruit near his feet done in bright red, yellow and green. I layered it over a striped feedsack cotton and framed it on the sides with a new turquoise dotted reproduction feedsack. The row of herringbone embroidered detail is accented with three vintage purple buttons. The simple envelope back uses more of both fabrics. A new polyfil pillow insert is included.
