This pillow was created from a vintage towel with an appliqued and embroidered Japanese girl playing what I think is badminton, but with a paddle. I've layered it over a vintage purple and red striped cotton and fromed it on each side with a coordinating vintage feedsack print of roses o lavender. A single vintge flower button accents the front edge. The back, which uses more of both fabrics, forms a simple envelope for easy removal of the enclosed polyfil pillow insert. 14" X 18"
